NSF REU/RET Update with COVID-19

Our Citizen Science GIS REU/RET Site team is actively monitoring the global pandemic caused by COVID19. At this point, we are unsure of the status of our summer program. At this time, our priority application deadline will NOT be March 27 as previously stated. We will leave the application portal open, and alert folks to a new, delayed application deadline as we learn more. We will provide more updates as we gain more clarity from this major public health concern, and as we learn more from our university research office and NSF. Do know that at this moment in time, our priority is the health and safety of our students applying around the country, our team, and our community partners in Belize. We will provide more information as we learn more. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time of great uncertainty. Be well, friends!
