The Maps, Apps, and Drones Tour is Back! Pre-register your class, organization or event for the Maps, Apps, and Drones Tour, led by Citizen Science GIS at University of Central Florida. Have our team of volunteers come teach your group about about maps, apps, and drones, bridging science, technology and communities. Students will engage in an interactive assembly and then participate in hands-on learning activities that may include: using mapping apps, creating crowd-sourced data, flying mini-drones, and more!Target Audience: 4th grade and up. It takes about 2 minutes, and it allows you to celebrate acts of kindness! Our Mapping Acts of Kindness Project aims to be the largest map of kindness ever created. We already have thousands of data points mapped. All requests need to be at least 30 days in advance of the desired event date.  We will begin contacting schools for scheduling the week of January 7.
