Environmental Studies B.S. - Communication & Planning Concentration | University of Central Florida

Rhiley K. Hodges, is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Studies at the University of Central Florida and currently serves as a UCF STEM Ambassador on campus. Rhiley is also a part of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars program at the University of Washington, where she learns about environmental justice, power, privilege, identity, and agency and how those are needed in conservation. She recently joined the K-12 Outreach & Education team with Citizen Science GIS March of 2021.

Her research and interests consist of environmental and social justice issues. Upon graduating, Rhiley plans to pursue her J.D. degree to become an environmental lawyer. She aspires to one day work in international environmental law to combat the offenses done to the environment and how these decisions are creating social, economic, and racial injustice.
