Esri Award for Citizen Science GIS

We at Citizen Science GIS are humbled and excited to announce that we are receiving international recognition from Esri with their 2017 Special Achievement in GIS Award. This award recognizes our work with the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Site in Hopkins Belize and the Open Reef Mapping Society work on the Belize Barrier Reef islands. We are deeply honored that our community-based work is recognized internationally as transformational for communities, researchers, and students.
