Caralyn Tenney

Projects:

Caralyn Tenney is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, and a certificate in Geographical Information Systems. Caralyn has been with Citizen Science GIS since 2019 and has contributed to the Maps, Apps & Drone Tour, Mapping Kindness, and the Florida Utilities project. Caralyn is a U-LEAD Scholar, a Knight of Distinction, and serves on UCF’s Student Undergraduate Research Council. When not working for Citizen Science, Caralyn conducts separate research projects on sexual minorities’ motives for prescription drug misuse, the effects of doctors’ dismissal of pain in women with endometriosis, and the use of GIS to identify Food Deserts in Central Florida.
